My cat Molly

My cat Molly is hilarious. Ever since I first got her, she’s had an anti-social streak and it takes her forever to warm up to anyone. However, when my parents got a new puppy (named Cheyenne), Molly became instantly attached to it. She’d follow the dog around, take naps with it, and even lick the puppy like she was giving it a bath.

As Cheyenne’s grown the two have started playing more and Cheyenne likes chasing Molly around. At first I thought Molly hated it because she’d hiss at the dog when cornered, but a minute later I’d find her licking Cheyenne affectionately. It’s pretty funny that the cat doesn’t care much for people who just want to pet her, but she’ll spend so much time with a dog that chases her all around the house.

In any case, if you want to see the two of them here’s a picture I snapped this weekend:

New things.

Today’s the first day using WordPress for my site, and I’m looking forward to building a theme for the site. In the meantime, zBench will do.

Speaking of customizing WordPress, there’s going to be a few sessions about designing for and developing with WordPress at D2W. The conference looks like it’s going to be pretty good, and I’m excited to attend. In addition to WordPress, there will be a few sessions about developing with Mura. Gotta love ColdFusion apps.

Lastly, while I’m in Kansas City, I’ll take a Railo Certified Administrator course. It covers so much; I’m really looking forward to diving into Railo’s inner workings. In any case, I hope to have more updates and a better site soon.

Cheers.
